While the freight market shows signs of heating up, negative numbers continue for freight brokerages. There are now 181 fewer freight brokerages heading into the final month of 2024.

The average number of closures each month  in 2024 has been 257. Based on the historical growth trend of new brokerages over the past 10 years, we now have almost 2,900 fewer brokerages than expected.
